Welcome to the Sound Waves Community Choir Website

Sound Waves is a large friendly community choir based in Hastings and open to all. If you can sing in the shower, you can sing with us. We usually sing a cappella (without accompaniment) with a repertoire that ranges from folk song to opera, gospel, jazz, rock and pop. We generally meet and rehearse on Tuesday evenings in the Salvation Army Hall, St Andrew’s Square, TN34 1SP, in central Hastings [CLICK HERE FOR MAP]. Our musical director Debbie Warren leads most rehearsals and performances, but we also invite guest MDs to run workshops in their particular genre of music. We enjoy singing at local events and make regular donations to local charities. Click here to watch some of our recent performances on YouTube. Click the “Register” button at the top right of the page to join the choir, or for more information, please Contact Us

Outdoors for the summer!

Singing is ON for tonight Thursday 29 July.  Weather is blustery but no rain forecast. So wear layers, block up the draughts, and hold on to your hats. Not quite the heatwave of last week.

We still have room for more members to join us, so any other Sound Waves choir members can register. It's £5 per session  7 - 8pm in St Matthews Gardens, St Leonards on Sea TN38 0TS.  Arrive from 6.40pm and bring your own chair please.

You can read more about us on the More News and the Charities pages.
